New SIM Only plan gives unlimited data, calls and texts to anyone who has lost their job as a result of the coronavirus pandemic
The plan, being offered under Vodafone’s VOXI brand is available to customers for up to six months, with no contract to sign and no credit check. It’s available to anyone currently claiming Jobseekers Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance, or employment-based Universal Credit and can be ordered online at Voxi’s website.
Normally this plan would cost £35 a month so it’s a 70% discount. The plan also includes 5G as standard if the customer has a 5G-enabled phone. When the six months is up, you’ll automatically switch over to Voxi’s 6GB plan.
Vodafone UK CEO Nick Jeffery said: “We want to provide financial relief to those people most in need at this incredibly difficult time. And we want to make sure those people keep connected, because we know how vital that is – vital to finding new work, and vital to good mental health. If you can’t afford your current plan, or you know someone who is struggling, we can help.”
Vodafone has also announced it will be extending its free unlimited data to NHS workers until January 31 2021.
Voxi’s ‘For Now’ plan for job seekers, is available now at Voxi.
