Vodafone down: Mobile network not working with customers unable to make or receive calls

The issue with the phone network seems to be affecting customers across the UK

Vodafone customers say they are struggling to make or receive calls, following an expected outage of some services with the network.

Update: 14:25 04/09/23: The network have confirmed there is an EE network issue possibly affecting Vodafone users ability to call EE users and receive calls from them

Vodafone UK have yet to officially confirm a problem, but users on Twitter / X are reporting being unable to make calls to non-Vodafone users, whilst others are saying they are unable to receive calls.

Data seems to be working normally though.

On Twitter / X, there is a noticeable increase in people messaging Vodafone to say they are unable to make or receive calls with customer agents asking affected users to check Vodafone’s online service checker.

@VodafoneUK can’t receive any calls. I think it not just me at this point.

The issue is also affecting some members of the Direct Mobiles team who are on Vodafone and Voxi (Vodafone’s sub-brand).
