The OnePlus 7 Pro’s more affordable, but still powerful, little brother.
The OnePlus 7 Pro was the flagship phone that got all the attention at the OnePlus 7 series launch last month, mainly due to it’s ridiculously impressive 90Hz screen and innovative pop-up camera. However, the standard OnePlus 7 was also unveiled and is the more affordable alternative to the Pro version. It’s finally available to buy in the UK from today.
You can purchase it directly from the OnePlus website, EE and John Lewis and it’s basically an upgraded version of the OnePlus 6T which launched last year. It’ll set you back £499 SIM Free with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or you can grab the 256GB version for £549.
OnePlus 7 spec
The OnePlus 7 has a really impressive spec for what is classed as a mid-range smartphone, following the mobile company’s trend of offering flagship features at a reduced price. You get a nippy Snapdragon 855 processor, a 48MP main camera, a 5MP secondary camera and a 6.41 inch AMOLED screen. That’s not a massive jump up from the 6T but it’s worth bearing in mind just how powerful that phone was when it arrived. What you’re getting is a slightly lower-spec OnePlus 7 Pro, if you want to save yourself some cash and don’t need to top-end specs of that version.
If you’ve never used a OnePlus phone before, they are well worth checking out, with the new 7 series being one of our favourite Android phones of the year.
The more powerful OnePlus 7 Pro is also now available to buy, and so is the new OnePlus 7 Pro 5G Edition for those that have 5G coverage in the UK.
