They’ve taken their time but Spotify is now available for your Apple Watch, giving you the ability to access your favourite tunes and podcasts from your wrist. Ideal for those that prefer Spotify to Apple Music.
With the new app, you can access all your Spotify music and other audio content, plus connect to your other speakers or computer. Offline play isn’t available just yet, but Spotify have confirmed it’s on its way.
So, no need to whip your phone out to start your playlist, just hit play from your Apple Watch. It’ll also let you skip tracks, shuffle, pause music or rewind 15 seconds on the podcast you’re listening too.
If you find a new favourite tune whilst you’re out on your run, just tap the ♡ icon on your watch to save it to your collection.
The new Spotify for Apple Watch is rolling out over the next week – just make sure you have the latest version of Spotify (v8.4.79) installed or download it on the App Store.
More updates are expected soon and Direct Mobiles will have all the latest info.
