We can’t wait to get our hands on the new Sony Xperia T2 Ultra smartphone when it arrives at DirectMobiles very soon. Let’s tell you why.
The 6-inch handset comes with a superb IPS LCD triluminos display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels which gives it a decent 245 pixels per inch. The Xperia T2 Ultra offers great value for money and is pretty slim (7.6mm) and light in weight despite it accommodating a large screen.
The T2 Ultra sports a plastic frame and comes in 3 colours – white, black and purple. It runs on Android Jelly Bean but will be upgradeable to KitKat 4.4.2 in the near future. On the inside, the Xperia T2 Ultra is powered by a respectable Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.4GHz processor and 1GB of RAM. There’s also 8GB of built-in storage which can be increased up to 32GB thanks to the microSD slot.
The 13-megapixel rear facing camera is undoubtedly the T2 Ultra’s best feature and boasts autofocus, an LED flash, image stabilisation and a great panorama mode. The camera comes with a Sony Exmor RS sensor and some superb camera software which includes Scene Recognition mode (with 36 scene presets) and a Augmented Reality feature. On the front of the T2 Ultra is a 1.1-megapixel camera. The 3000mAh battery is certainly a powerhouse and will provide up to 24 hours of talk time and just under 4 days worth of music playing.
The T2 Ultra features Sony’s Xperia User Interface which is simple and easy to use and includes Sony’s trademark Walkman music player. Look out for the best offers on the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra on the DirectMobiles site over the next few weeks.
