There’s been a flurry of new smartphones from phone giants Nokia recently with the new Lumia 930 topping the bill. The Lumia 930 is Nokia’s very latest premium mobile phone, so here’s the lowdown on Nokia’s latest flagship device.
The Nokia Lumia 930 will be hitting stores in June and comes in a choice of 4 colours incuding black, white as well as bright green and vibrant orange. It sports a similar design to the Lumia 925 – which was Nokia’s previous flagship smartphone – with an aluminium frame and the usual interchangeable plastic back cover. As well as a high-end design, the Lumia 930 doesn’t disappoint thanks to its superb specs which include four microphones for enhanced sound on your videos, some great new software and built-in wireless charging.
The Nokia 930 boasts a beautiful and super-sharp 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and an impressive 441 pixels per inch. Nokia have certainly dedicated a lot of time and thought to the 20-megapixel PureView camera on the Lumia 930 which is top notch and boasts a Zeiss lens, optical image stabilisation, autofocus and a dual LED flash. Nokia have also upgraded their Creative Studio software with a good choice of flattering filters and the option to transform your photos into mini films complete with music of your choice with the new Living Images feature. On the front, there’s a 1.2-megapixel camera which is more than adequate.
The Nokia Lumia 930 runs on the improved Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz CPU. It also comes with 2GB of RAM and a decent 32GB of non-expandable built-in storage. The 2420mAh removeable battery provides up to 16 hours of 3G talk time. Look out for Nokia Lumia 930 in our shops very soon.
