New UK mobile service launched including pay monthly phones and SIM only plans
Mozillion, the UK site for buying and selling mobile phones, has launched a full MVNO service which includes pay monthly phone plans, along with SIM only plans from £4 a month.
The MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) promises uncapped speeds, inclusive EU roaming, no annual price increases and unlimited calls and texts included on all plans. Customer can choose between eSIM or physical SIM (although at the time of writing, currently only eSIM is available).
An MVNO is a brand that uses one of the main four (EE, O2, Vodafone, Three) networks to provide its service – for example GiffGaff runs on O2’s network and Voxi runs on Vodafone’s. Mozillion’s uses EE’s network so is likely to be of interest to those that have good EE coverage in their area.
Mozillion’s SIM only plans are available on 1, 12 or 24 month contracts, and pay monthly phone plans run across 12 and 24 months, and include the new iPhone 16 series, iPhone 15 series and Samsung Galaxy range.
We had a look at their current phone offers, and the lowest price phone plan at time of writing is £24.89 a month with no upfront cost, which includes a Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and 10GB of data, unlimited calls and texts for 24 months. The same plan can be had with a Good As New refurbished A55 for £21.99, saving £69 on the total cost of the plan.
On the SIM only side, the lowest price plan is £4 a month which includes 1GB of data, with 100GB available for £15 a month.
Phones from Apple, Samsung and Google are currently available, with Mozillion confirming to us that more manufacturers are being added later this month.
Mozillion began life as a site for buying and selling phones, where buyers can buy a preowned phone risk-free as every device is checked, verified and tested by Mozillion in-house. Sellers can sell their phone on the site for more than average trade-in prices and with none of the concerns of selling privately, as Mozillion take care of everything. The new MVNO will sit alongside Mozillion’s existing product categories and services.
