Honor Teases New Magic 4 Smartphones, Due to be Announced at MWC on February 28

Follows a number of new launches from the Chinese manufacturer over the last 12 months.

Ahead of Mobile World Congress on February 28th, Honor have teased the announcement of their Magic 4 series of smartphones which will be unveiled officially at the Barcelona event.

Honor has been firing out new product releases over the last year, following it’s split from parent-company Huawei, as it looks to reclaim some of the market share Huawei grabbed before they were pretty much stopped in their tracks after the loss of Google Services on their devices. With Honor having no such restrictions, the brand is in a good position to disrupt the market in the same way OnePlus, Oppo and Vivo are attempting to as they take on Samsung and Apple.

The Magic 3 series was announced less that six months ago so we’re unsure what upgrades the Magic 4 series will include. The Honor 60 had only a few incremental improvements over the Honor 50, so if that’s anything to go by then expect small upgrades as oppose to a full design overhaul.

In the press release, Honor says it will be “full of features that will unleash the Power of Magic” – means nothing to us yet but the smartphone’s camera features are most likely to be the focus (sorry) of the event.
