Recent research revealed that 68% of gaming consumers were interested in using a gaming laptop, stating reasons such as portability, better graphics and more processing power. This then allowed them dual screen gaming at home too for an extra bonus.
However, the cost of a top-of -the-range gaming laptop can be exorbitant so mobile operator EE have come up with their game-changing (ahem) idea of creating a gaming laptop bundle where payments can be made monthly, while simultaneously removing data worries by including a mobile data plan in the package.
And with 88% of Brits owning up to two unused consoles, EE will let you trade-in your old console too. Nothing is quite as satisfying as decluttering while making a few bob.
For the console fans out there, EE are also offering a Nintendo Switch OLED bundle which includes The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, for a £10 upfront fee and £20 monthly plan (pricing correct at time of writing). It is all part of EE’s strategy to become the UK’s ‘No.1 destination for gaming’.
The company already offers PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and XBox gaming bundles which include cloud gaming access and unlimited gaming data. Maximising game play is the goal for EE by helping to remove data worries and providing the best hardware that features the latest processors and graphics cards.
From £10 upfront and £60 per month, you can get your hands on a EE PC gaming laptop bundle, starting with the following models but with more brands being added over time:
- The IdeaPad Gaming 3 Gen 7, armed with AMD Ryzen 5 6600H CPU Processor and GForce RTX 3050 Graphics card is available with a £10 one off upfront charge
- The Asus ROG Zephyrus, powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 processor and GForce RTX 3060 graphics card with 8GB DDR5 RAM is available with a £300 one off upfront charge
- The Legion 5, benefiting from a Ryzen 7 6800H CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, a 165Hz display and an RGB-laden keyboard is available with a £425 one off upfront charge
- The Samsung Book 3 Ultra, powered by 13th-gen Intel Core i9 processors, with Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics and 16GB of DDR5 RAM is available with a £1950 one off upfront charge
