Pre-orders kick-off Friday 23 April for the new purple editions
Apple has added a new colour to it’s iPhone range with the launch of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini in purple. Announced at their Spring Loaded event on April 20th alongside new iMacs and a new iPad Pro, the purple iPhone models will be available to pre-order from Friday April 23rd before going on sale from April 30th.
The new purple editions sit alongside the existing black, white, blue, green and red iPhone 12 and 12 Mini.
Both models support 5G now come with improved cameras and a faster chipset compared to the previous iPhone 11.
In a world where technical innovation has slowed on mobile phones, new colour variants are a popular way for manufacturers to inject new life into their products and purple will no doubt prove a popular choice. Looking at Samsung and what they’ve done with the increased colour range on the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, blue and mint green are proving the most popular here on our site.
Both EE and Vodafone have confirmed they will be stocking the new purple iPhone, with more retailers to be confirmed soon.
