Is your iPhone on the list?
Apple this week released iOS 17, the latest software update for the iPhone and it brings with it loads of new features and functions for iPhone users. Among them include Contact Posters which allow you to customise your contact’s profile picture when they call you, new Siri updates, new messaging features and more.
Not every iPhone model is compatible though, in fact, some models are now no longer supported by Apple for future software updates. Here is a the full list of iOS 17 compatible iPhones.

- iPhone 11 Pro
- iPhone 11 Pro Max
- iPhone XS
- iPhone XS Max
- iPhone XR
- iPhone SE (2nd generation or later)
This means that if you have an iPhone X or older, it won’t be getting the new iOS 17 update. This doesn’t mean your iPhone will stop working but it does mean certain apps may start to not function if the developer drops support for the iOS version you have on your phone.
