Spotify’s billion streams club continues to increase through 2019. These are the artists that have reached or exceeded one billion streams on the subscription music service.

As of April 2019, there are 26 artists in the club.  Just over three years ago, there was only one artist in the club; Drake with “One Dance”.  This was the first song to hit a billion streams on Spotify and with the number of tracks at a billion streams or more now at 26, it shows how increasingly popular music streaming has become.

There are tracks from some of the biggest artists in the world in the top 26, including Drake, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Kendrick Lamar, Sia and Twenty One Pilots.  The fastest song to reach one billion streams is Ed’s “Shape of You”.  It is also the first and only song so far to reach two billion streams.

Ed Sheeran – “Shape of You”
Drake – “One Dance (ft. Wizkid and Kyla)”
The Chainsmokers – “Closer (ft. Halsey)”
Post Malone – “Rockstar (ft. 21 Savage)”
