Earlier today, Apple shared a new three minute video called ‘The Underdogs’ that shows a group of work colleagues working on a project to pitch a round pizza box to their bosses. They manage to cram in a whole load of Apple products at work.
It’s not actually any old round pizza box either (a clever idea in itself) but the same box Apple serves pizzas in at the Mac Caffee in their Cupertino circular head office; One Infinite Loop.
The four co-workers start out with a simple sketch of their design and progress to a fully finished product within a few days, utilising a variety of Apple products and services, including Macs, iPhones, iPad Pros, Apple Watch, AR and supported by the likes of Microsoft Office, a 3D-design tool and Facetime. The pressure builds as time ticks towards the important pitch meeting. This is ‘Apple at Work’ so the tagline goes.
Apple’s video is a fun example of the sometimes frantic pace of project work when there’s an important deadline to hit.
