What’s changed with the Samsung Galaxy S10 compared to last year’s S9?
The launch of a new Samsung Galaxy is now a yearly event, the latest being the S10. There are three models too choose from and a few different variants with this launch but we thought it important to do a direct comparison between the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the new S10 to allow you to be able to make an informed decision about whether to upgrade or not. If you take a look below at the specs a few things immediately jump out.
The screen on the Samsung S10 is marginally bigger than its predecessor but with an increase in the ratio of the screen to body, you will notice a big difference.
The S10 has three rear cameras where the S9 had only one, the clever use of the three cameras with their different lens sizes allows for better pictures and more photographic features.
All the way through the specs list there are improvements, from RAM to GPU, Chipset and where it counts in the battery department. The S10 is able to handle apps better and render images quicker and all of this with great ease because of the increases in RAM and processor power.
There are some unique features like Powershare which will prove useful. Powershare allows you to wirelessly charge your friends’ phones using the S10, or it can be used to charge your wireless headphones, assuming they’re wireless charging compatible. The new on screen fingerprint scanner improves security and is quicker in its execution. All in all, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is a great upgrade choice for anyone using the S9 and if you jump from the S8 you will be nothing but impressed.
