It’s travelled far, far, away across the galaxy, from Tattoine to Endor to Jakku, but the Millenium Falcon has been found somewhere a bit closer to come – just off the M3 in Surrey.

The Millennium Falcon on Google Earth

A keen-eyed Star Wars fan spotted the ship whilst browsing Google Earth and the images have now been shared across the internet.  Even though it’s covered up and surrounded by large shipping containers, it’s pretty obvious what’s hiding there.

We last saw the Millenium Falcon at the end of ‘The Force Awakens’, when Rey and Chewbacca were heading off to find lost Jedi; Luke Skywalker.  The new Star Wars film ‘The Last Jedi’ arrives in cinemas on December 15th and we can find out just what the crew have been up to.

For now though, at least we know their beloved ship is safe, here in Surrey.
