The Best Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro Pre-Order Deals

Google have finally unveiled the brand new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones, which include improved cameras and some impressive AI tech thanks to the new Google-designed Tensor chip.  Both models go head on against Apple and Samsung’s current flagship phones and are available to pre-order now but which model and deal to choose?

Those interested in the base model with Google Pixel 6 deals, this sits at around £599 SIM Free or is available on a pay monthly network contract. For the price Google has included some pretty impressive specs.

The display measures 6.4-inches but, it is FHD+ (Full High Definition Plus), unlike the Pixel 6 Pro which includes a 6.7 QHD+ display (basically a bigger and clearer display). The standard Pixel 6 has a 90Hz refresh rate display compared to the 120Hz found in the Pro – higher refresh rate means smoother scrolling but reality is 90Hz is still totally acceptable for a mobile phone screen.

When it comes to battery life, the Google Pixel 6 is includes a 4524mAh capacity with the larger Pro model packing a 4905mAh battery. Both should last you all day and may be a bit more – the Pro is bigger but then it has a bigger screen to power. Fast charging should get you up to 30% full in around 30 minutes on the Google Pixel 6 or 50% in about the same time on the Pro model.

Google’s new ‘Tensor’ processor and end-to-end security are included on both models.

Like the S21 versus the S21 Ultra, it’s the cameras that receive the biggest upgrades on the Pro versus the stand Pixel 6. Both Pixel 6 models include a 50MP wide camera and 12MP ultrawide lens. However, the Pro also adds a 48MP telephoto lens with super zoom up to 20x.

Both phones are currently available to pre-order in the UK, with both going on general sale on October 29th. Some UK retailers also include a free pair of Bose 700 wireless headphones if you pre-order.
