It’s official and it’s starting way before Black Friday 2020
The rumours about this one have been flying around the web for weeks, ever since Amazon confirmed they would delay their usual annual shopping event to after July. Well now we have an official date confirmed – Prime Day 2020 will start on Tuesday October 13th and run through all of Wednesday, giving us deal hunter a full 48 hours of deals.
As always, sales will be exclusive to Prime members, so you’ll need an Amazon Prime account, either a paid one or the 30 day free trial.
Amazon has also confirmed that deals will truly be deals with offers during Prime Day that won’t be found cheaper this year – this means this is going to be the best time to grab Amazon’s own-brand devices such as the new 4th Generation Echo or Fire TV Stick.
There will be discounts across pretty much every product category, with reductions on TV’s, tablets, games consoles and everything else you can think of.
Brands such as Sony, Nintendo, Lego, Samsung, Under Armour and Philips are all confirmed.
Amazon are also encouraging customers to shop with small businesses this year. Prime members that spend £10 with selected small business from 28th September to 12th October will earn £10 to spend on Prime Day.
