iphone_4Apple’s iPhone 4 continues to be hugely popular and offers superb value for money with some of the best deals available on a smartphone around. Here’s the lowdown on the features you can expect from the iPhone 4.

The iPhone 4 launched in the summer of 2010 and quickly became one of Apple’s best selling handsets. Available in the traditional Apple colours of black or white, the iPhone 4 has a 3.5-inch LED backlit touchscreen with 640 x 960 pixels giving it a high resolution of 330 pixels per inch. Just 9.3mm thin, the iPhone 4 exudes class and quality with a beautiful super-strong stainless steel and scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass design.

The ultra sharp retina display combined with Apple’s fast Safari browser and pinch-to-zoom mean that online pages are quick to load, simple to navigate and clear and easy to read. The iPhone 4 comes fully integrated with Facebook and Twitter and iCloud which gives you extra space to store your music, photos and documents.

The iPhone 4 comes with a 5-megapixel iSight camera with tap to focus technology and an LED flash. It also has HD video recording at 720p which gives you 30 frames per second complete with audio. There is also a front facing camera for FaceTime video call catch ups with your friends and family.

The iPhone 4 currently runs on Apple’s iOS 6 operating system but this will be superceded by iOS7 later in 2013 which will be compatible with the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 is powered by a 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor and 512MB of RAM. In terms of internal memory, the iPhone 4 is available with 8 or 16GB of built-in storage, the best deals can be found on the 8GB handsets.
